Charles Banner, QC, appointed by Essex Suffolk Norfolk Pylons, has concluded that the East Anglia GREEN consultation is ‘deficient’.
Mr Banner states that it cannot be relied upon at the next stage of consultation. He goes on to say that if thee legal deficiencies remain uncorrected, the future statutory consultation risks being ‘infected’. This would in turn mean that the development consent order application could not be lawfully accepted by the Planning Inspectorate for examination.
